Learning Objectives
• This Training will automatically qualify individuals to take the five-day Facilitator course.
• Through Participation in this training your staff will be able to:
• Apply Key Concepts of Recovery into their every day.
• Identify tools and action plans to counter the negative effects of life challenges and improve
responses to disturbing thoughts and feelings to achieve improved states of wellness.
• Describe the history, foundations and structure of the Wellness Recovery Action Plan®.
WRAP II- FACILITATOR TRAINING
Overview
This Certificate Course is co-facilitated by a Certified Advance Level Facilitator using the Copeland Center's standard five-day Agenda. Participants in this certificate course are provided with Dr. Mary Ellen Copeland WRAP Facilitator Manuel and learn how to use the Manuel to facilitate WRAP workshops while always adhering to the values and ethics of WRAP.

STAGES OF CHANGE

WORKPLACE POLITICS AND ETHICAL DECISION MAKING
This is a training to support staff in developing and maintaining appropriate boundaries in service provision, and to explore and clarify ethical dilemmas. In this training, learners will explore power and power differentials, including intersectionality and implications of access to systemic power and privilege. The SAMHSA Prevention Code of Ethics will be used to examine service practices and policies. The training draws on Mowbray’s work on the distinction between traditional hierarchical boundaries and those appropriate to Peer Support. Learners will practice assessing and making decisions about boundaries and dual relationships.
